Pilot's Views

The Pilot View is looking from actually the back of my office.  Here we have three PC's running with four monitors.  The Center monitor is a ViewSonic 21" Flat Panel Digital Display, the monitor to the Right is an HP mx 703.  Both of these monitors are on the new PC, HP 405n, which is a 3.0 Ghz, Hyperthread P4, 800 Mhz front Bust, NVidia Video Card 5200 with 128 meg ram, PC has 1.0 Gig of Memory and a 120 Gig Hard Drive.  The flight controls are Thrustmaster, AfterBurner II with Force Feedback.  The clock to the left is for timing holding pattern legs.  My Instructor is real particular about the inbound 1 minute, leg. :-)

The Pilot Side View, with monitor to the Right, is my old HP 7966.  On this I run pmTCAS with WideFS, ICQ, and can do IVAO Staff duties as I am flying,

The monitor to the far left is my very old, HP 7170 P2 PC which runs ServInfo.  Even the old PC can serve a function if you have a router.

All three PC's are connected via a LinkSys Wireless-G Router, using a cable modem.  Likewise, in Texas the we can have severe thunderstorms, so I have three UPC Backups which can maintain this system for 45 minutes on battery power.

The Ground Crew View is looking into my office.  As many of us know, this should really be called the "Wife" view.
