IVAO I-Pack

This Instruction Package includes several manuals and lessons that will enable you to learn what a controller and/or a pilot must know, even a virtual one.

Every manual/lesson is as short as possible and made in htm format. They can be accessed from the main menu below.

The filenames start with an L and a figure indicating which level they are requested for.

Level What you need to know
L1 = Level 1 at the very beginning whatever you are a pilot or a controller
L5 = Level 5 to be a Controller 1 and/or a Flight Captain
L6 = Level 6 to be a Controller 2 and/or a Senior Captain
L7 = Level 7 to be a Controller 3 and/or a Senior Flight Captain
L8 = Level 8 to be an Instructor 1 and/or a Commercial Captain
L9 = Level 9 to be an Instructor 2 and/or a Commercial Flight Captain
L10 = Level 10 to be an Instructor 3 and/or a Commercial Senior Captain

(see also details about levels on www.ivao.org/training/exam/ and exam policy on www.ivao.org/training/exam/Expol.htm )

Thus you can work only what you need to apply our different exams. Files are sorted in alphabetical order for each level. You can work them in any order of your choice, not only in the order presented below.

It is strongly recommended that newcomers take time to read at least L1 files; you will find many answers to your questions and will really enjoy your first connections. Have also a look into the DATABASES section, as well as into the FLIGHT OPERATIONS section.

Not all the manuals and lessons are available yet (some links below are not active yet). We will release new versions of this zip file each time we create something new to put into. Be sure we do the maximum to provide you with good training material; this takes time and this pack will stay under construction for a while.

Any suggestions and remarks are welcome at the Training Department .

Note :  SB and PC manuals are not included in the downloadable version of the pack. We will work on a downloadable version of them too as soon as possible.
